There is nothing more satisfying than taking and
sharing good pictures of our children and grandchildren. This workshop taught
by Washington Photo Safari director (and proud grandfather!) E. David Luria
looks at basic techniques of informal child portraiture in a colorful outdoor
setting. Bring your own children as models, or photograph the other children
who attend. It also helps to bring someone who will watch the child while you
receive instruction on posing, background selection, lighting, composition and
